TBILISI
Georgia will release 20 Turkish citizens detained in the country’s prisons, the head of Turkish Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee reported through his Twitter account yesterday. Volkan Bozkır held talks with Georgian officials in Tbilisi yesterday about the issue of 52 Turks detained in Georgia. Turkey wants Georgia to either release the remainder or transfer them to Turkish prisons if they are convicted of a crime.
