French troops shoot dead two Indians in Central Africa

French troops killed two Indians today when they opened fire on vehicles approaching the airport in the capital of the Central African Republic, which they are protecting in the wake of a coup, the French defense ministry said.
In a statement the ministry said the shooting happened "in a particularly confusing situation" while French troops were being fired upon "from an unknown source."
