French Interior Ministry calls on citizens to vote in presidential election with Saltbae image

France’s Interior Ministry has called on citizens to cast their votes in the presidential election through the iconic image of social media phenomenon Nusret Gökçe, the co-partner of Turkey’s global Nusr-et chain of grill houses best known as “Saltbae” who has gained global fame for his meat-cutting and salt-drizzling skills.“This is the day! You have until 19h or 20h depending on the city to vote #VoteChallenge #ElectionPresidentielle2017,” the ministry tweeted using Saltbae’s iconic salt-drizzling image.
The ministry also placed the hashtag #YesIVote on the image.
