Free taxi services for people with disabilities

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality will begin offering free taxi services to people with disabilities to better integrate them into society and meet some of their most pressing needs.A specially designed taxi that will have a ramp and enough room for two wheelchairs will provide free transport to people with disabilities to aid in meeting needs like health and education, as well as social and cultural activities.
Through the project, those who cannot leave home due to a physical handicap will be able to go to social events, according to the municipality.
Citizens with disabilities who want to benefit from the project need to become a member of the Disabled Information Center on Konyaaltı Avenue, which they can do by presenting a health report and a copy of an ID.
