Four local groups to bid for Mediterranean grid
Four bids have been placed for the privatization of Akdeniz Elektrik Dağıtım, the state-run electric distribution company operating in the southern provinces of Antalya, Burdur and Isparta.The bidding deadline for 100 percent of public stakes in the company was Nov. 6, said Privatization Administration (ÖİB). The four bidders are Genpa Telekomünikasyon and İletişim Hizmetleri, Alsim Alarko Sanayi Tesisleri, and joint ventures by Cengiz-Kolin-Limak and Elsan-Tümaş-Karaçay.
