Fotofest delivers the awards

Indian photographer Anjan Kumar Kundu recives the top proze of the festival.
As one of Turkey’s most prominent photography festivals kicked off in the Marmara province of Bursa, promising a full week of events stretching to every corner of the city, the festival’s top prize went to Indian photographer Anjan Kumar Kundu.A total of 11 works garnered honors on the festival’s award list in a competition of 419 photographers competing with 1,975 photographs. A total of 324 of these photographic works were exhibited at the festival. Another themed exhibition titled “The Traces of the City” showcased work from 562 photographers with 2,501 photographs, eight of which landed on the prize list.
Among those photographs a total of 103 were exhibited.
The silver prize went to Melih Sular and bronze went to Turkish photographer Fatih Balkıan. The first mansion award went to Ayça Erşen Danyeli from Turkey and the second mansion prize went to Denis Felix from France.
