Former The Cardigans’ singer in town for a special project

Film music composer Nathan Larson and Turkish contemporary and electronic music composer Erdem Helvacıoğlu will be joined by Nina Persson, the world famous, multi-platinum-selling singer of The Cardigans and later A Camp, to give an exclusive concert under the band name 777 at Salon İKSV at 9 tonight.The concert follows the Contemporary Music for Film Workshop to be given in the venue early in the day by Larson and Helvacıoğlu within the scope of 31st Istanbul Film Festival. With Persson on vocals, Larson on the electric bass and synthesizers and Helvacıoğlu on the electric guitar, this one-time performance will be the premier concert of the band’s yet-untitled album, which the trio plans to release in late 2012.
