Football ticket prices see highest rise

Tickets for football matches saw the highest price increase in Istanbul’s consumption products compared to January of last year, according to a recent report by Istanbul’s Chamber of Commerce.The increase in prices has been nearly 44 percent since January 2012, closely followed by roasted chickpeas at a 30 percent increase. Refrigerators and chocolate bars came third and fourth respectively, with a 29 percent increase in prices for both.
Around 119 products increased in cost, with the highest increase for a seasonal product belonging to mandarin oranges, which shot up 21 percent.
Cauliflower, cabbage and quinces followed mandarin oranges with 16, 11 and 12 percent increases in prices, respectively.
