Fifteen missing after refugee boat sinks in Aegean sea

Fifteen people went missing after a boat, believed to have been carrying illegal refugees to Greece, sank in the Aegean Sea between Turkey’s Bodrum and Greece’s Kos Island early yesterday morning, Doğan news agency reported.Greek coastguards informed their Turkish counterparts after a boat reached Kos Island. People in the boat told the Greek officials that there was another boat, and officials started search operations.
From the studies conducted by the Greek coastguards in the region, it was discovered that the boat sank right after its’ departure and 15 passengers went missing.
