Fenerbahçe footballer’s car attacked in Istanbul

Unknown assailants have attacked a Fenerbahçe and national team player’s car in Istanbul with a gun, although no injuries were reported.Mehmet Topal’s car was targeted as he was heading toward his home after training in the Sancaktepe district of Istanbul. All of the bullets hit the car but Topal escaped unhurt because his car has bullet-proof glass.
Topal pulled his car off the road and requested help from the police.
Security forces inspected camera footage and started a wide-scale operation following the attack.
Fenerbahçe football club also issued a statement following the incident, denouncing it as a terror attack.
