Egg-throwing protesters target CHP leader in Turkish capital

Unknown protesters inside the crowd threw eggs at Kılıçdaroğlu during the funeral ceremony of soldiers Özgür Kara and Erhan Yıldırım at Kocatepe Mosque. One of the eggs reportedly hit Kılıçdaroğlu.

Meanwhile, one suspect was detained over the attack.

“No one can prevent us from attending the funerals of the martyrs,” Kılıçdaroğlu said after the attack.
