EBRD supports small firms
ISTANBUL
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed yesterday a 50 million euros credit line with Turkey’s Industrial Development Bank (TSKB) for the latter to support the development of local small and medium enterprises (SME) operating in the agribusiness sector with loans of up to 20 million euros. In the near future TSKB will also sign a 50 million euros risk-sharing facility with the EBRD, which intends to provide a total of 200 million euros for credit lines and the same amount as a risk-sharing facility for SMEs in Turkey.
