Eagles look to end year on a high

Beşiktaş is unbeaten in its last six matches in the Spor Toto Super League.

Beşiktaş will look to end the calendar year on a high note when it hosts Kardemir Karabük in the Spor Toto Super League tonight. 

The Black Eagles trail their archrivals Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe by five points coming into the final match day of the first half of the season. Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe were each scheduled to play their final matches yesterday. 

Beşiktaş is on a six-match unbeaten streak, but has drawn three times in the process.
The Beşiktaş-Karabük game is one of four matches that will wrap up the first part of the season. 
Struggling Bursaspor, which has only won once since the start of October, will try to regain its winning ways against relegation-battling Gaziantepspor. 
Both games start at 8:30 p.m. 

Earlier tonight, Trabzonspor will meet Orduspor in a battle between two poor performers in the last two months. Last season’s runner-up Trabzonspor has failed to win any of its last six matches, and things are even worse for the promoted Orduspor, who have lost six in a row. 
Gençlerbirliği takes on Istanbul BB tonight as well.
