Drug dealer in clown costume detained at Istanbul park

Istanbul police have detained a drug dealer in a clown costume at a park in the Fatih district of Istanbul as a part of a project which has been in effect over the past three months, a security official has said.Police officer Eyüp Şahin said police teams caught a drug dealer in a clown costume while he was selling drugs at a park in the district thanks to the efforts of the security general directorate’s “Mobile Park Police” project.
Şahin also added that some 887 drug dealers had been caught over the past three months in Istanbul as a part of the project.
Meanwhile, police teams have also taken legal action against a total of 7,938 suspects during the project.
