Documentary screening continues
ISTANBUL
“A Documentary, A Journalist and A Simit,” organized by Beşiktaş Municipality in collaboration with the Turkish Journalists Association and Documentary Filmmakers Union, continues with “Geçmiş Mazi Olmadı” (The Past Has Not Become History).The film, selected as Best Documentary at the 2011 TRT Documentary Awards, will be shown at the Levent Culture Center today at 7 p.m. After the screening, director of the documentary Mehmet Özgür Candan and journalist Aydın Engin will hold a discussion with the audience.
The next film to be shown as part of the ongoing program of events will be Nefin Dinç’s “Öteki Kasaba” (The Other Town) on Jan. 04.
