Deputy PM Şimşek to attend IMF-World Bank meetings, to organize roadshows in US

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek will visit the United States on Oct. 5-9 to attend the International Monetary Fund-World Bank meetings, according to a written statement by the Treasuries on Oct. 5.While in the U.S., Şimşek will also attend the G-20 Finance Ministers meeting and hold one-to-one meetings with foreign counterparts. He will be joined by a delegation from Turkey’s Treasury and the Central Bank.
According to the statement, Şimşek will also hold a number of meeting with global fund investors and other investors.
