Construction goods seller Ece buys Isvea

Ece Holding, a local construction equipment company, has acquired Italy’s Isvea, according to a press release by the company yesterday, though no pricing data was disclosed by the parties, which started acquisition talks last year.

Ece has already been distributing the goods of several foreign brands.

Hakkı Akil, Turkey’s ambassador to Rome, participated in a signing ceremony for the deal yesterday, along with Ece Chairman Erdem Çenesiz and Isvea Chief Executive Mario Angelucci. 

“Turkish businesspeople today have more confidence in themselves,” Akil said at the ceremony. “They have power to compete in international markets and they are active.”
