Four performers challenge each other to confess their deepest secrets on a dance floor. Who has the biggest secrets and who has the most stamina? Countdown was developed through a collective creation process by artists from Turkey and the Netherlands. Schwalbe Colletive members Christina Flick, Melih Gençboyacı and Kimmy Ligtvoet have worked with İlyas Odman for a program to be presented in Rotterdamse Schouwburg (Rotterdam), Frascati (Amsterdam), Stadsschouwburg Utrecht (Utrecht) and Istanbul between November and December. The Istanbul program is at the Mimar Sinan University on Nov. 24 and 25.
The project is supported by the Turkish government within the framework of the celebrations of the 400th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and the Netherlands and a part of ‘Dutch Delight.’
