Cluster bomb explodes at police station in İzmir

İZMİR

A cluster bomb exploded in the backyard of a police station in the Bornova district of İzmir province late July 24, Anadolu agency has reported. The explosion caused no casualties or injuries.

Unidentified people left a cluster time bomb in the backyard of the police station, which exploded at around 10:30 p.m. The screws and nails hit the walls of the station after the explosion.

İzmir Police Chief Ali Bilkay and anti-terror teams are currently inspecting the area.
