CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu hit with gas in Ankara

During yesterday’s demonstrations in Ankara, leader of Republican People’s Party Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and CHP lawmakers were hit by the pepper gas when police used pepper spray and pressurized water cannons to disperse people. A struggle resulted between Kılıçdaroğlu’s bodyguards and the security forces on hand during the incident.“The AKP will give an account to the people. We are soldiers of Mustafa Kemal,” demonstrators shouted.
