Children photographed behind bars in field day trip in Turkey

Photographs in which a number of kindergarden students posed in a detention room in the Black Sea province of Rize have caused eyebrows to raise, daily Millliyet reported today.
The kindergarden organized an excursion for students to the district police department as part of the "traffic week" activities. Police officers showed different sections of the police station to the children.
The teachers then photographed the children behind the bars while they were in detention room, and shared the photos on the kindergarden's website.
The photos were taken offline after the childrens' parents complained.
