Central Bank sees inflation slowing further

Data for February inflation released yesterday “indicated that the main trend for inflation is downward,” the Ankara-based Bank said yesterday in an e-mailed statement. Inflation slowed to 7.7 percent in February, the slowest pace in a year-and-a-half and close to the Bank’s year-end goal of 7.5 percent, the official statistics agency said yesterday.
