Central Bank expects inflation to slow

The impact on inflation of a recent fall in the Turkish Lira’s value has been "limited," the Bank in Ankara said in an e-mailed report yesterday. The U.S. dollar has gained 6.6 percent against the lira since Jan. 1, and was trading at around 1.64 liras in the afternoon.
