Russia’s National Football Team manager, Fabio Capello, has lashed out at Russian federation officials for placing him in a hotel in southern Turkey where hundreds of cosmetics salesmen had convened for an annual meeting, Russian media reported.According to the reports, the Russian Football Federation recently reserved a hotel in Belek, a touristic town near the southern Turkish city of Antalya. The luxurious suite of Capello cost the federation 2,500 euro for five days, but the Italian coach ended up unhappy.
“Almost one thousand salesmen of a cosmetics firm in Turkey convened in the hotel the day that Capello arrived. He was expecting to enjoy his time in a luxurious hotel, but ended up in a public bus,” LifeNews said.
The news website added that Capello initially tried to eat among the crowd, but then started to dine in his room because of the chaos at the all-inclusive, open buffet restaurant.
