Leaders of the new wave of Riot Grrrls, the Dum Dum Girls will be at club Ghetto tonight as part of a tour for their latest album. The Dum Dum Girls sound like The Ronettes, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Best Coast. Members of the audience will have a chance to hear lo-fi pop and surf gaze guitar pop coming from the bohemian ambience of California, as well as a cover of The Smiths’ song “There Is A Light that Never Goes Out,” which is always included in the band’s set list. Formed in 2009, the Dum Dum Girls released their debut album “I Will Be” in 2010, while their second release, “Only in Dreams,” came in 2011. The concert starts at 11:30 p.m. and tickets are available at Biletix booths and the club’s main booth.
