Bursa, Es-Es seek ticket to the Turkish Cup final

Bursaspor and Eskişehirspor will meet tonight for the first ticket to the Ziraat Turkish Cup final. The two teams will meet in the domestic cup semifinal at 7 p.m.The second finalist will be decided tomorrow in the Fenerbahçe vs. Kardemir Karabükspor match.
Bursaspor has won the trophy once before, with its 1986 victory over Altay. The Crocs, who became the first team outside of Istanbul to win the national title in more than two decades with their 2010 victory, are also three-time runners-up at the cup.
Eskişehirspor won the trophy once in 1971, beating Bursaspor in the final. The Red-Blacks have also lost twice in the final, in 1970 and 1987.
Today’s semifinal at İzmir’s Atatürk Stadium will be the first of two games the two clubs will play against each other within the space of four days: They are also playing in the Europa League playoffs of the Spor Toto Super League, and will meet again on April 29.
