Borusan Philharmonic in Austria and Germany
ISTANBUL
The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BIPO) is set to go on tour to two of the most important countries in the history of classic music, Austria and Germany.The tour will begin in Vienna and continue to Germany’s Friedrichshafen and Frankfurt before ending in Nurnberg.
The first concert of the tour will be held on Feb. 12 the Konzerthaus, one of the most magnificent halls in Austria’s capital. Schulhoff’s Ogelala, Bruch’s 1st Violin Concerto and Rimski-Korsakof’s Scheherazade Symphonic Suite will be performed during the concert.
The first concert in Germany will be on Feb. 14 at Graf Zeppelin Haus in Friedrichshafen. On Feb. 17, BIPO will take the stage at Frankfurt’s Alte Oper Hall and the last concert of the tour will be on Feb. 18 at Meistersingerhalle Nürnberg.
BIPO art director Sascha Goetzel will conduct the concerts. The soloist of the first three concerts will be Nemanja Radulovic, a rising star in the world of classical music, while world-famous violin virtuoso Vadim Repin will take the stage as a soloist at the concert in Nurnberg.
