Borusan Music House to host young talent Özyazıcı

Young pianist Furkan Özyazıcı is giving a concert at Borusan Music House tonight. The concert starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are available at Biletix booths. Accomplished pianist studied under Prof. Meral Yapalı at Istanbul University State Conservatory. In 2006, he won a bronze medal in the Asean International Chopin Piano Competition, which was organized by the Chopin Society in Kuala Lumpur. In 2008, Özyazıcı won first prize “Grand Prix” and “Akil Koci Foundation Special Prize” in the Ars-Kosovo Music Competition. Next year, he became one of the finalists in the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition in Rome. In 2010, he received first prize in the “American Protege Romantic Music Competition” in New York.
