Book lovers to come together during Bibliopole Festival

Trump Shopping Center will be hosting Bibliopole Days starting from June 1 until June 16. The rare find books, manuscripts and many more will be at the festival. The Bibliopole Days will take place in the Trump conference hall, which is 1000 square meters in size. There will be panels and discussions during the festival. Twenty-seven bibliopoles will be attending.The opening speakers will be Nedret İşli, Bibliopole Association President and also academic Ali Atıf Bir. They will speak about old books and history. The rare find books will be the main focus of the talks.
The event is both a festival and a library of old books. On June 2, 9 and 16 there will be an auction of th
e old books. Some of the rare books, letters and maps will be put up for sale at the event.
On June 2, writer and novelist Selim İleri and Sibel Oral and then on the same day Doğan Hızlan, writer and Hürriyet daily publishing consultant and Nedret İşli will be guests at the event. On June 8 Beşir Ayvazoğlu and Haluk Oral will be speaking about old books and on June 9 Candaş Tolga Işık and Tarık Tufan, Ayça Örer will be at the Bibliopole days. On June 15, historian İlber Ortaylı and writer İsmail Küçükkaya will be the guests of the event and on June 16 the festival will close with Murat Menteş and Nazlı Berivan Ak.
