Beşiktaş draws 2-2 as Karabük secures comeback with 10 players

After last week's derby defeat against Galatasaray, Beşiktaş has drawn disappointingly at home 2-2 with Kardemir Karabük in the Turkish Super League.
 
Karabük had already scored surprising victories against Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe in Istanbul this season and was looking for another big win. However, Beşiktaş took a two goal lead with goals from İbrahim Toraman in the first half and and Olcay Şahan in the 58th minute. 

The game seemed all over for the visitors when Erdem Özgenç was shown a red card right after Beşiktaş’s second goal, but against the odds Karabük responded. Their first came from Ahmet İlhan right after going down to ten men, while the equalizer came from LuaLua in the 69th minute, silencing Beşiktaş's İnönü Stadium.
 
With the draw, Beşiktaş missed the chance to pursue leaders Galatasaray, while Karabük managed to lose none of its three games at all the big three clubs of Istanbul.
