Celebrating 2012 as the year of Chinese culture in Turkey the Beijing Opera will perform on stage at Fulya Sanat. Beijing Opera, also known as Eastern Opera, is an art form which combines singing, reading, acting, fighting and dancing to narrate stories and depict characters. With their elaborate and colorful costumes, performers are the main focal points on Beijing Opera’s characteristically sparse stages. In Beijing Opera special attention is paid to the various types of facial make-up used on actors as it symbolizes the personalities, characteristics and destiny of the characters. Above all else, the skill of performers is evaluated according to the beauty of their movements. The concert begins at 8 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at Biletix.
