Batmobile crosses third bridge in Istanbul

Batman’s Batmobile crossed the third bridge over Istanbul’s Bosphorus Strait for an advertisement of Turkish Airlines (THY), one of the sponsors of the movie “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”The car was brought to Turkey last month and was placed in the worksite of the third bridge, named the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge in honor of an Ottoman sultan.
When the advertisement is to be aired and the driver of the Batmobile is still unknown, reported daily Habertürk on April 19.
Turkish Cargo is the official transport sponsor of the Batmobile.
The Batmobile can reach the speed of 100 kilometers per hour in 5.5 seconds. It measures 3.3 meters in width, 6.4 meters in length and 2 meters in height, while it weighs 6.8 tons.
