Barclays may sell profitable assets

The bank may have to raise funds because it has lower capital reserves than its U.K. rivals, the WSJ said citing analysts including Credit Suisse Group. That may mean it would have to sell profitable businesses such as San Francisco-based Barclays Global Investors, the newspaper said.
