Aziz Nesin’s comedy classic on stage
“Hadi Öldürsene Canikom” (Come and Kill Me My Dear), a comedy classic written by Aziz Nesin in 1970, will make its premiere on Dec. 2 at the Akatlar Culture Center. Directed by Haldun Dormen, the play will be performed by Tiyatro Ayna, starring Dilek Türker, Ayberk Atilla and Tiraje Başaran. “Hadi Öldürsene Canikom,” one of the most favorite comedies of Nesin, is the tragicomic story of two widow and old women living in the basement of a building. Siyen, one of these two women, consoles herself with memories of her late husband while Diha consoles herself with fake love letters. The theater play will also be staged at FMV Işık Lisesi Nişantaşı Campus, Şişli Kent Culture Center, Ataköy Yunus Emre Culture Center, Caddebostan Culture Center in the 2013-2014 season.
