Atlasjet links Lebanon to N Cyprus

Turkey’s Atlasjet began offering service between the Republic of Turkish Cyprus and Beirut, Lebanon via Turkey’s southern province of Adana as of July 3. Flights are scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays.Turkish Cyprus’ Tourism, Environment and Culture Minister Ünal Üstel said these flights will contribute to improving Turkish Cyprus’ tourism and education sectors, as well as boosting commercial relations between Turkish Cyprus and Lebanon.
The number of foreign tourists visiting Turkish Cyprus in the first six months of 2012 rose by 20 percent, Ustel said.
