At least 100 PKK militants ‘neutralized’ in six days in Turkey’s east, southeast

Over 100 militants of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) were “neutralized” during operations in Turkey’s east and southeast between Oct. 20 and 26, the military said on Oct. 28, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.The security forces captured 105 PKK militants, according to a statement released by the Turkish General Staff.
Operations took place in eight provinces including Hakkari, Ağrı, Şırnak, Diyarbakır, Bingöl, Batman, Bitlis and Siirt.
