Army forces bomb PKK camps in northern Iraq
ISTANBUL
Turkish war planes have bombed targets in northern Iraq where camps belonging to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were located, Doğan news agency has reported.F-16 planes took off this morning from Diyarbakır air base and, in a planned out maneuver, bombed targets in the Metina region.
Routes frequented by PKK targets were also bombed.
The planes then returned to base and all routine flights over the region continue, according to Doğan news agency.
