Armenian foundation holds iftar dinner in Istanbul

The Pangaltı Armenian Schools Foundation held an iftar, or fast-breaking dinner in Ramadan, at the Pangaltı Armenian High School in Istanbul's Şişli district.       

“Thanks to the iftar events we organize every year, we are able to offer our gratitude to the statesman and to our dear friends," the founder representative of Private Pangaltı Armenian Schools Berc Menzilcioğlu told attendees.       

“Thanks to these events, we find the opportunity to experience the happiness of being a big family and nation altogether,” he said of the event that has been organized for five years.       

Menzilcioğlu expressed his hope the political, military and diplomatic campaign carried out by the Turkish state will bring peace to it, the region and to the whole of humanity.       

Turkish officials from Şişli municipality, National Education Ministry and academicians attended the event.
