Ankara highlights complicacy of Syria crisis upon Israel’s strike

Turkey has no official information on the alleged Israeli attack, which is said to have targeted a Syrian military center near Damascus, a Turkish official said while underlining that the incident displays how the situation in Syria influences the region in a negative way.“This indicates once more that the situation in Syria has now become complicated and bad, threatening regional and international peace,” Selçuk Ünal, spokesperson of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, said today at a press conference.
Since the first day of the Syrian crisis, Turkey has said the developments in this country produced problems for entire region. Turkey’s government has long stressed that the Syrian problem has to be resolved as soon as possible with its entire dimension, he said.
