Ankara, Berlin to work on neo-Nazi killings together

Efficient investigation and trial procedures are important in the case of the neo-Nazi killings in Germany, Turkish Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin has said, adding that the Turkish government would cooperate with the German authorities in this respect.

After meeting with his German counterpart Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger in Berlin yesterday, Ergin told reporters that Turkey was following the investigation closely and that German and Turkish authorities would be exchanging information on this. “We hope that those responsible for these crimes get tried and punished. German officials have informed us that they also want justice to be done.”
