Anatolian symphony in Balkans

Within a new project initiated by the Foreign Ministry, the Culture Ministry, and Eskişehir’s Anadolu University (AU), the AU Symphony Orchestra will give concerts in six Balkan countries.AU State Conservatory Director Professor Ahmet Bülent Alaner said the project was one of the largest to be carried out by a Turkish university.
A 100-person team will work during the tour, which will take place between June 29 and July 15, said Alaner. “A dream has come true with the support of the Foreign Ministry and AU’s rector, Professor Davut Aydın. The first concert will be in Bulgaria, before moving on to Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia.”
