Anatolia Agency now in Balkans

Anadolu Agency (AA) opened a regional office in the Balkans on March 11. The office, which is based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, will broadcast news stories in Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian.Bakir Izzetbegovic, head of the Presidential Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdağ and AA Executive Board President and Director General Kemal Öztürk attended the inauguration of the agency’s regional office.
Parliamentarians, mayors, religious officials, members of the press and nongovernmental organizations participated in the inauguration.
A photograph exhibition on “Turkey’s beauty through AA’s lenses” will be opened at the Turkish Culture Center in Sarajevo on the sidelines of the office’s inauguration.
Öztürk will sign a protocol with the executives of leading TV channels, newspapers and Internet news portals in the country and the region.
