WEF ends with reception

The World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Middle East, North Africa and Eurasia meeting ended in Istanbul with a reception at Swiss Hotel the evening of June 6.Broadcaster CNN Türk hosted the event, which was attended by guests of the forum.
Turkey’s European Union Minister Egemen Bağış, WEF Director General Robert Greenhill, Doğan Holding Chairwoman Begümhan Doğan Faralyalı, Doğan TV Holding Chairwoman Arzuhan Doğan Yalçındağ, Doğan Media Board Member Mehmet Ali Yalçındağ, Doğan Holding CEO Yahya Üzdiyen, CNN TÜRK’s General Manager, CNN TÜRK News Editor-in-Chief Ferhat Boratav, CNN TÜRK Programs Coordinator Aslı Öymen, Doğan TV’s head of finance Erdem Seçkin were among the attendees.
Dancers dressed as waiters and waitresses gave guests a little surprise. The event ended with DJ Can Hatipoğlu performing.
Presidents, prime ministers, cabinet ministers, business organizations and representatives from several countries discussed regional and global issues during WEF’s three-day follow-up event in Istanbul.
