In the security camera recording, Korkmaz is seen wearing the same t-shirt and coat as he wore in footage showing the beating.

New footage has been submitted to court today during the second hearing of the trial into the murder of Ali İsmail Korkmaz, showing the young Gezi victim while walking to hospital with another student, Doğukan Bilir, on the night of the fatal beating in Eskişehir.

The 19-year-old went into a coma days after being savagely beaten by plainclothes men, allegedly including police officers, following demonstrations in solidarity with the Gezi protests in Eskişehir on June 2. Korkmaz eventually died after spending 38 days in a coma.

The eight murder suspects on trial in the Central Anatolian city of Kayseri include four police officers, who all denied administrating the fatal beating during a tense and emotional first hearing in February.
