US says Border Patrol agent killed in shooting

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security says a Border Patrol agent was killed and another was wounded in a shooting near the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona.

The department says the shooting happened while the agents were on duty Tuesday morning near Bisbee, Arizona.
 
The department says the wounded agent is being airlifted to a hospital after being shot in the ankle and buttocks.
 
The agents were assigned to the Naco, Arizona, station.
