US rapper Pitbull shakes stage in Istanbul

US rapper Pitbull takes the stage at Istanbul’s Maçka Küçükçiftlik Park.

U.S. rapper Pitbull performed a concert on June 30 in Istanbul. The concert was attended by some 13,000 people. The concert at Küçükçiftlik Park began with a delay of two hours. Before Pitbull took the stage, Piny Fox, who is listed in the top ten on Billboard world music lists with her songs “Snow White” and “Time is Up,” performed as the opening act, to great interest.

Pitbull performed his well-known hits, including “Give Me Everything Tonight,” “Let It Rain Over Me,” “International Love,” “Suavemente” and “On The Floor.” Speaking to the press before the concert, Pitbull said that he had come to Istanbul in 2010 to play a small club show. He said that he plans to record a song with Jay Z and Shakira.
