U.S. election celebrations begin early in Adana

The U.S. presidential elections have been celebrated in Adana with a party organized by the U.S. consulate of Adana.

“Whatever the result, the winner will be the U.S., because public votes determine democracy,” U.S. Consul John Espinoza said, Doğan news agency reported.  

Espinoza asked guests to symbolically vote in a ballot box, after which guests took photographs with models of Barack Obama and Mitt Romney.
