Uruguay beats Uzbekistan 4-0 to reach U-20 World Cup last 16

Uruguay defeated Uzbekistan 4-0 at the Under-20 World Cup to secure a place in the knockout stage on June 29 in a game played at the Akdeniz University Stadium in Antalya.Gino Acevedo scored with a low 25-meter shot in the 38th minute, and Nicolas Lopez, Giorgian de Arrascaeta and Ruben Bentancourt added in the second half.
Uruguay finished Group F second to Croatia. Uzbekistan also advanced as one of the best third-placed teams.
Croatia, already qualified, beat New Zealand 2-1 with goals from Stipe Perica and Ante Rebic. Louis Fenton scored New Zealand's only goal in the tournament from the penalty spot in the 84th.
Later June 29, England was playing Egypt for the final automatic spot in the last 16, and Iraq was taking on Chile in the conclusion of Group E.
