Turkish soldier killed in PKK clash in eastern province

Sergeant Huseyin Ozden was killed and another soldier was wounded in the clash which erupted near the Cicekli district of Tunceli, the Anatolian Agency reported.
The PKK, which launches cross-border attacks on Turkey from bases in northern Iraq, is listed as a terrorist group by Turkey and much of the international community, including the EU and the United States.
