Turkish PM talks to Iraqi counterpart over phone

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım spoke with his Iraqi counterpart Haider al-Abadi over the phone on Jan. 15, according to a Turkish Prime Ministry source.
The two premiers discussed bilateral ties and regional developments as well as the fight against terror groups, including the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
Yıldırım asserted the significance of cooperation between Turkey and Iraq in the fight against terrorism.
